About the Position

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer who wants to work on the development of professional handheld products at an established technology company. Here, you will play a central role in both the further development of existing platforms and the creation of the next generation of chainsaws. The organization is large and offers good opportunities for long-term development, both in the role and internally within the company. The site also has a lab, final assembly, and foundry, making the work concrete, varied, and stimulating.

In this role, you will work on the design of everything from plastic and die-cast components to covers, fasteners, and handles – in short, the majority of the product's mechanical parts outside of the engine itself. The work includes both new development and maintenance, where you switch between longer projects and shorter tasks depending on current needs. You will follow the entire development chain from early concepts and technical investigations to 3D modeling, tolerance setting, and verification, along with testing and lab work.

• At least 5 years of experience as a designer

• Relevant university degree

• Swedish and English in spoken and written form

If you also have experience in injection molding or die casting, we consider this an advantage. As a person, you can lead yourself - drive your own work forward and find the right contacts when needed, while also being a team player who helps where needed.
